Roborock has announced their latest flagship vacuum and it’s the most hands-off vacuum launched to date. With this new device, Roborock have taken self-emptying vacuums to the next level.
The Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra has a new intelligent docking system that self-empties the dirt as well as cleaning and refilling the mop, plus it has upgraded AI to deliver a superior clean with even more convenience.
The Self-Cleaning, Self-Emptying, Self-Refilling Dock
The new vacuum comes with their new Empty Wash Fill Dock so it can take care of itself. The mop is automatically scrubbed during and after cleaning sessions, and the base even cleans itself too.
An auto-refill function tops up the S7 MaxV Ultra water tank so that it can mop up to 300 sqm, 50% more than its predecessors.
Of course, like other self-emptying bases, it will also take care of the dirt too, holding up to 7 weeks of dust in the base.
AI Obstacle Avoidance System
Powered by a combination of an RGB camera, 3D structured light, and an all-new neural processing unit, the S7 MaxV Ultra recognizes objects in its path more accurately and adapts quickly to clean around them, regardless of lighting conditions.
It recognizes and positions furniture in the app, allowing users to start a quick clean around dining tables or sofas with just a simple tap of an icon in the app.
It even identifies rooms down to their unique flooring materials, recommending ideal cleaning patterns such as suction power and scrub intensity.
The Sonic Mop Will Vibrate Your Dirt Away
The S7 MaxV Ultra features sonic mopping which results in an effective high-intensity scrub to tackle surface dirt. It also has an automatic mop lift designed to transition smoothly over thresholds around your home
Combined with the vacuum’s maximum suction power of 5100pa, the S7 MaxV Ultra is a powerhouse.
Also Announced at CES: Roborock Q Series
Roborock also announced a more budget-friendly range at CES 2022, the Q Series.
This mid-range vacuum combines auto-empty technology with some of the other features first introduced on the flagship S series.
When can you get it? The S7 MaxV Ultra will be available for purchase on Amazon in the United States in Q2 2022 for an MSRP of $1399.99, there is no word on the UK launch date yet.
